Each portrait is textured with elements unique to it's subject.  Sand from the horse's training arena, horse-hair, clippings from show results, copies of breeding history, or articles related to breed, owner, etc.  From a distance the portraits have the look of a richly textured oil painting.  Close scrutiny reveals a partial historical record of the subject.

Clients may choose the level of texture in their commissioned portrait.
